Tanney Industries is a product-development studio rooted in the Penn State startup ecosystem, working with founders and small manufacturers across Central Pennsylvania and beyond. It's built on a simple idea: good products shouldn't die because a maker can't find affordable help getting them built.
We design, prototype, machine, and manufacture — and we teach. From the Dragon Blade to a student team's first patentable prototype, every job runs through the same careful, hands-on process.
